Hi, I'm Shawn! Like many of you that are on this page, I'm a lifelong football fan. I played football as a kid and in to high school, but passion for the game took on a whole new meaning when I started coaching flag football with my son and a group of enthusiastic young kids. Seeing their joy and the raw talent on the field reignited a passion in the game for me.

I've watched with excitement as flag football has exploded s across the country. And right here in my hometown of Fulton, Missouri, William Woods University has launched a women's college flag football program!

It has been inspiring to see new athletes having fun and paving the way for the future of football. Seeing the women’s flag football recruiting, olympics, scholarships, and other opportunities come available is life changing for these athletes and encouraging for the future of football!

My wife Kassie was a competitive cheerleader at Wichita State University and we know first hand how much sports can make a difference in the lives of young people across the country.
